Get Ready to Set Sail on Disney’s Treasure—the latest addition to Disney Cruise Line
Today, Disney revealed more exciting details about the latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line Family— Disney’s Treasure. The Disney Treasure is sister ship to DCL’s most recent ship, The Disney Wish, which launched in 2022. This new cruise ship, based out of Port Canaveral, Florida, features wonderful new experiences for all Disney lovers!
If you love the classical Disney park rides, then you will certainly love this latest ship. More than ever before, Disney’s Treasure focuses on bringing in odes to classical park attractions right there on the ship. One fan favorite is sure to be Periscope Pub. Based off the Disney film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and the popular Disneyland Submarine Voyage ride of days past, Periscope Pub’s theming is sure to delight adults looking for a way to relax and unwind when on the high seas.

All Disney fans will be sure to recognize theming behind another lounge onboard The Disney Treasure—Skipper Society. Based on the popular Jungle Cruise Ride, Skipper Society, with its jungle decor, thematic cocktails, and light refreshments will offer another respite for passengers onboard the ship.

Fans of Walt Disney World’s EPCOT will delight over the addition of the Tomorrow Tower Suite. This spacious, nearly 2,000 square foot suite is the perfect resting place for parties of up to 8 people who are sailing together. Featuring a private ensuite elevator and tons of space for the whole party to spread out—this is truly traveling in Disney style.

There will be more exciting details revealed by Disney as the date for their first sailing creeps ever closer. The Disney Treasure will embark on its maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. However, Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members won’t have long to wait before they can book a trip! The booking window for DCL Castaway Club members opens up on September 12, with bookings for the general public becoming available on September 20, 2023.
